It's funny how these ideas for applets suddenly pop into your head out of nowhere, I think I was out walking the dog one evening when the idea for this useless but fun applet suddenly invaded my brain.
This applet is a simple one, basically it is supposed to simulate falling snow and I think the effect is quite realistic. As the applet above shows, a background image, and a transparent foreground image can be supplied to add to the effect.
Not really sure what use this applet is, but its quite fun so I thought id put it up here.
- Background image
- Transparent foreground image
- Any image can be used as the "flakes"
- Maximum number of flakes can be restricted to produce varying effects
